Who Are We?

We're firefighters

I’m Casey Reep, and Johnny is my dad. My dad started his fire career as a volunteer in his hometown of Warren, Arkansas before his 30 year career with the Little Rock Fire Department from 1973-2003. I began my career in 2011 and currently hold the rank of Engineer.

Family Tradition

My grandfather, H.T. Reep, started our family’s tradition of firefighting as a member of the Bradley Lumber Co. Fire Brigade. He was also a member of the Warren, Arkansas Volunteer Fire Department.

As the 3rd generation of our family to be a firefighter, I take great pride in continuing the family legacy.

service minded

My dad spent many years lobbying on behalf of Arkansas firefighters, helping us to enjoy many of the benefits we have today. Perhaps what he is most well known for is his work in getting the Arkansas Fallen Firefighters’ Memorial constructed. It took many tireless years of work, but it was well worth it.

Engine Co. 5 continues this tradition by giving back to firefighter charities and causes. firefighting has meant so much to our family, so giving back is only natural.
